Torta Mil Hojas, which translates to “thousand page cake,” consists of several layers (hence the name) of very thin puff pastry, baked until flaky and golden brown. Between each layer of puff pastry rests a generous coating of Dulce de leche, and the cake is then topped with whipped cream or merengue.
Torta Mil Hojas has different sizes, including 10 and 20 portions.
